It was a rough Thursday morning for Starbucks customers who rely on the company’s app to order their Frappuccinos and egg bites.

Customers reported issues with the coffee giant’s mobile app, and the reactions were pretty entertaining.

A Starbucks spokesperson confirmed that there is an ongoing outage.

“We are currently experiencing a temporary outage of the order ahead and pay feature in our app. We continue to welcome and serve customers in our drive-thrus and stores,” the spokesperson said in a statement to GeekWire.

Starbucks’ app is one of the most popular mobile payment apps. Millions of Starbucks customers, including its Rewards members, use the app to order and pay for their coffee and other items.

Mobile orders accounted for 25% of total transactions for U.S. company-operated stores in the most recent quarter. Starbucks Rewards membership was up 17% to 26.7 million users.

Starbucks has invested heavily in technology over the past several years as it evolves into a tech company that sells coffee, similar to other retail giants going through digital transformation and moving more operations to the cloud.

Starbucks reported global net revenues of $7.6 billion in its second fiscal quarter, up 15%.

The company earlier this month announced that it plans to sell NFTs to create a digital community and provide access to exclusive perks. It also recently brought on former McDonald’s tech leader Deb Hall Lefevre as its CTO.

Starbucks was previously led by longtime tech exec Kevin Johnson, who stepped down as CEO after five years in March. Former chief Howard Schultz has returned as CEO in an interim role.
